Saamanjasya 2010, the beginning of a new beginning.
Saamanjasya shall open to the melodies of "Pulsating Fingers", feeling their passion for music, and that passion shall persist, as Dr Shukla takes over as our Chief Guest.
A cultural presentation by the nice School kids of Kharagpur, organised by Shraddha.
Then, we kickoff the events.

विनोद गुप्ता प्रबंधन संसथान द्वारा आयोजित

सामंजस्य २०१० एक सामजिक पहल.

VGSOM के छात्रों द्वारा समाज कल्याण का एक प्रयास है यह सामंजस्य. छात्रों का प्रयास है कि वह उद्योग जगत से जुड़े लोगों को समाज की अवस्था से परिचित कराएं और उनमे यह भावना जागें की उद्योग जगत कि यह एक ज़िम्मेदारी है कि वह समाज के पिछड़े वर्ग के उत्थान में सहयोग करे.
इस दौरान दिनांक उन्नीस से इक्कीस मार्च को IIT खरगपुर प्रन्गद में आयोजीय होने वाला यह सामजिक उत्सव पूर्णतयः समाज कल्याण कि दृष्टि से हो रहा है.
परिश्रम: यह प्रतियोगिता समाज कल्याण में लगी संस्थाओं द्वारा कार्यों के दौरान आने वाली बाधाओं के समाधान पे आधारित है. इसमें प्रतियोगी को इन समस्याओं को हल करने के लिए योजना बनानी होगी.
शिक्षण: विश्व में व्याप्त कुछ मूल समस्याओं तथा कुछ अवसरों से सम्बंधित विषयों पे HCCBPL और Michelin सरीके औद्योगिक घरानों द्वारा उपयोगी ज्ञान का संस्मरण होगा. इस मौके का पूर्णतया लाभ उठाएं और हम सबके भविष्य को उत्तम बनाने में सहायता करें.
HCCBPL का विषय है : जल संशोधन तथा Michelin का विषय है green tyre .
Wired : सामाजिक सूचना तंत्र का प्रयोग एक भले काम के लिए करने के लिए यह बहुत ही उत्तम प्रतियोगिता है. प्रतियोगियों को पुरुस्कार राशि के साथ साथ एक भला काम करने का संतोष भी प्राप्त होगा.
विचार: समाज के नामी गिरामी लोगों द्वारा हमारे भविष्य कि चलायामानता के ऊपर विचार मंथन होगा. इस अवसर पर उद्योग और समाज के बड़े बड़े लोग उपस्थित होंगे और VGSOM कि गरिमा बढाएँगे.
कलाकार विकास : आज कल के औद्योगिक युग में पुराणी कलाएँ लुप्त होती जा रही हैं. इन कलाओं और उनके कलाकारों के विकास के लिए आयोजित यह प्रदर्शनी कलाकारों को उद्योग जगत के लोगों से मिलने का मौका देगी.

VGSOM के सभी छात्र हमारे इस उद्देश्य को पूरा करने में आप सबका सहयोग चाहते हैं और यह आशा करते हैं कि आप इस उपलक्ष्य पर उपस्थित होके हमें कृतकृत्य करेंगे. इसी के साथ देश के युवाओं से यह गुज़ारिश है कि वह समाज के प्रति अपने दायित्वा को निभाने में कोई कसार न छोड़ें और पूरे उत्साह के साथ सर्व सामाज कि तरक्की के लिए कर्मरत रहें.

Saamanjasya 2010: Building a better future

Saamanjasya or Collaboration is the call of the day. We cannot any longer seclude us from the rest of the society and progress. This is even more relevant for corporate houses in today’s competitive world.
This has led to the genesis of Samanjasya at Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur.
Saamanjasya ’10 is being organized with the aim of bringing together Corporates and NGOs on a common platform to ensure inclusive growth and inculcate a culture of giving back to the society in our aspiring and educated youth. Saamanjasya ‘10 seeks to highlight the importance of a symbiotic Corporate-NGO partnership.
Corporate Social Responsibility is a mutual support program which enhances the efficacy of the social development initiatives for both corporate and NGOs. It develops greater trust and confidence in the community about the business organizations’ effort in their real development. Integrated community investment strategies align internal community-related issues and link business goals with community needs. Here the role of Non Governmental Organizations can be better realized. The NGO-Corporate liaison can better act as moderators and facilitators in the realization of communities’ social and environmental concerns.
With events spanning NGO case studies, Sales-pitch, Workshops on Green IT, Water Conservation; Leadership Summits bringing together representatives from corporate , government and NGOs; and entertaining concerts Saamanjasya is all geared up to become a unique platform for upping the noble cause by sensitizing us towards our society.
Saamanjasya ’10 strives to make the Corporate-NGO partnership sustainable, replicable and stronger thereby making the world a much better place to slive in.
Collaborate, Create and Commit ...for a Cause
Saamanjasya’10 is scheduled to be held in the third week of March 2010. The aim of Saamanjasya is to bring together Corporate and NGOs under one umbrella to ensure sustainable growth in the society. And of course, there is a lot for the sharp minds to employ their grey cells. The event encapsulates a plethora of competitions; all on the theme of sustainable collaboration. Saamanjasya urges the participants to put on their thinking caps but not just for making a quick buck but to develop ways in which crippling issues of the society at large can be addressed, in a better manner.
With participation from all domains like Law, Political Science, Undergraduates in addition to the premier B-schools, Saamanjasya will be a platform for a completely new level of youth involvement in societal issues.
